Roads to Bukoba are tarmac. Kampala is a comfortable 5-hours drive, Mwanza less than a day. There are daily planes to Mwanza and onward destinations. The M/V Victoria provides 3 times per week excellent lake transport to and fro Mwanza for family and car.

If you arrive by plane or boat we can make arrangements to collect you. Coming by car, take Customs Rd to Bukoba Port, follow signpost Balamaga Bed & Breakfast and turn right up-hill on Kashura Rd, at the T-junction turn left on Maruku Road (follow signpost) and you will see Balamaga B&B after 500 meters on your right-hand side.
